With the holiday season officially upon us and 2011 just around the corner, we wanted to let everyone know what the Boston chapter has been up to. It’s been a busy autumn for everyone with races, milestones and BOMF celebrations.

Early last Friday morning all five Boston teams converged on the chilly Boston Common to participate in a first-ever Ruckus Fun Run.
Ruckus Course Master and retired military Special Operations Officer Matt Hagan designed a one-mile mini Ruckus-style obstacle course throughout the Common to give Back on My Feet runners a little taste of the three-mile course run at the Marshfield Fairgrounds, taking place on November 13.

As if jumping, climbing, crawling and running through three miles of military-grade obstacles for your favorite nonprofit wasn’t enough, Ruckus Boston has just announced some tantalizing new details to the Charity Team Competition first announced earlier this month.
Each BOMF Charity Team must raise a minimum of $1,500, and will quality for some amazing privileges:
- Preferred Grandstand/Finish Line Seating (up to 5 for friends/family members)
- Preferred Complimentary Parking (up to 1 vehicle pass per participant)
- Preferred Event Day Hospitality (to include complimentary coffee/hot chocolate and pastries)
- Preferred Post Event Hospitality (to include complimentary beer/wine and appetizers)
- Preferred Baggage Check and Registration
- Preferred Guest activities to include on-site family photographs, ease of access to Kids Relay activities, and more
Make your Ruckus experience count for more than just miles (and obstacles) by gathering your friends and family members together to create a Ruckus Charity Team for Back on My Feet. One hundred percent of the proceeds from your BOMF Charity Team fundraising dollars will go exclusively to Back on My Feet.

Organizers of the first annual Ruckus Boston, an authentic military-grade obstacle course challenge taking place on Nov. 13th at the Marshfield Fairgrounds, have just announced that Back on My Feet has been selected as one of the beneficiaries of the Ruckus Team Charity Competition.
