Team OBP was happy to welcome new members John and Delancey who have infused new energy into the group.
On June 2nd, Olani, Dave F. and Dave S. took a trip across the bridge to run in the Scott Coffee Moorestown Rotary 8K. We were joined by Dan Young who traveled all the way from Washington, DC to FundRace for BoMF. They all hit their goal times and afterwards enjoyed a coffee together and a stroll through the street festival.
We showed up to the BoMF picnic as “team orange” thanks to Sebastian, Rebecca A., Rachael, Laura, Dave F., and Matthew. Our cheer was awesome – probably because it was the shortest, but it was definitely fun! OBP always competes hard and were pretty successful in the challenges, but we’re sure that Team Ridge stayed up all night training for the water balloon toss! And despite a unified sense of reluctance, most of us participated in the dizzy bat contest. As always we enjoyed the food, especially the vegetarian options. Thanks to the BoMF staff for organizing a wonderful event – we all had a great time! Looking ahead, team OBP wishes Rebecca and Marisa lots of luck this month in the 20-in-24. They are strong runners and we are proud to have them represent Our Brother’s Place.
