Inaugural Back on My Feet Boston chapter team members
Monday, May 24, 2010 was the official launch of Back on My Feet Boston, the organization’s fourth team.
At 6 a.m., 30 inaugural members and nearly triple as many volunteers and supporters ran their first mile together around the Boston Common.
Below, watch video from that run, which brought together the three launch teams, including their first steps together.
The three teams start the first Boston chapter run together.
Before the start, Boston Program Director Vic Acosta warmed the teams up.
The teams created a gauntlet to welcome the final finishers.
All the teams came together for a closing serenity prayer.
