Emery House had an exciting month in April.
Adding new res-members early in the month, they have been charging through miles and catching up to the veteran starters! Led by Team Leader Gretchen (who will be coming on board on May 10th as BOMF staff in our Program Manager position.) We’re thrilled to have her on board and though she’ll be missed at Emery, though the neighbors she wakes up every morning may not.
Members from the team enjoyed themselves at the cook-out social event and started off the month with a spirited Easter Egg hunt!
Sam S. finishes the GW Parkway Classic 5k
The team members of the month are (resident-member) Sam S and (non-resident) Peter Burnham. Sam has been an energetic leader on the team and a real inspiration to everyone around. His punctuality and enthusiasm are infectious and his smiling face always gets the team excited. Peter has also been a tremendous supporter over the first month and has been a big part of the success of the team in encouraging and help folks meet their goals.
The team looks forward to exciting races and social events in the coming month!
