Senior Program Director Wylie Belasik, who relocated in February to oversee our Washington D.C. expansion, was back in Philadelphia over the weekend to run the 2010 Broad Street Run, in which more than 100 Back on My Feet members and supporters ran.
After finishing the 10-mile run in a tidy 56 minutes flat, he caught up with an old friend, Ridge Avenue shelter team member Kenneth H.. Below, watch some video of the two.
“What I appreciate about Kenny is his honesty. He shares his thoughts and opinions and has a tremendous respect for hardwork. I’ve known Kenny through good and rough times over the past two years and his passion has never yielded, it’s inspiring to see how well he is doing now,” Belasik said. “Kenny always says ‘give the run a chance,’ he’s a great ambassador for more people to do just that.”
